my dad accepted the fact that I’m not athletic. For the first time, he didn’t mind that I didn’t decide play any sports in high school. My dad was one of the biggest jocks at his school during his times and he kind of expected me to be the same so I could get the full experience of high school. However, because I didn’t chose to play any, I always felt like I wasn’t good enough, especially since I didn’t continue the family legacy of playing soccer. I tried it once, but I failed miserably. Sports was never really my calling anyways. I’m just glad my dad is coming around to being more understanding. I actually feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
